Finally; DP Ruto presents his PHD thesis at University of Nairobi.
The Kenyan deputy president William Samoei Ruto today presented his PHD thesis progress at the University of Nairobi.
He brings to record for the first time a sitting government of the level of the presidency to humbly take the academic route and complete studies while in power.
The deputy president arrived early at the Nairobi Universitie’s school of Biological sciences where he delivered his thesis progress with ease.
Many top government officials mostly shy away educational qualifications when they get to power or if they choose to go it’s way, they do it abroad.
The deputy president presented the progress to his supervisor professor Paul Ndegwa and Jenesio Kinyamario.
His thesis is built on the Impact of human activities on riparian reserves at Saiwa Swamp, in Trans Nzoia County.
This is a big challenge to the other government officials who get relaxed the moment they find themselves on the comfort zone of their jobs.
It is also an encouragement to the Kenyan youths who prefer shying away from the class corridors whenever they are through with their first degree.
It is not clear when the deputy president will be hrough with his PHD but sources indicate that his graduation might be very soon.
Messages of goodwill were passed over on his social media pages the moment he posted the images of him in front of the interviewing panel at the University.
