Kalonzo ditches NASA

There is news rife that their will be a possible fall out in the National Super Alliance (NASA) . This is after  Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka met President Uhuru Kenyatta at the Coast last week, where sources privy disclosed that he might have signed a pre-election pact with Jubilee.

On Tuesday, Kalonzo met with Ukambani leaders Charity Ngilu(Kitui), Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni) and Wavinya Ndeti (Machakos) at the Ole Sereni, Nairobi where they apparently agreed to push NASA to declare Kalonzo their presidential flag bearer or else the results may not be pleasant.

Francis Nyenze, a Wiper MP was also very clear in his address on Wednesday in the build-up to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s State of the Nation address, that ODM party leader Raila Odinga should adhere to the Memorandum of Understanding he signed with Kalonzo in 2013, that he will back him in 2017.

“The MoU did not state that he will support Kalonzo only if he wins, so we are just asking for due process to be followed,” said Nyenze.

Kalonzo is also set to submit his nomination papers as Wiper Democratic Movement presidential candidate at the party’s headquarter at Tende Drive in Lavington.
