Machakos MCA unveils multimillion apartments months after shifting to Alfred Mutua’s camp.
A Matungulu ward MCA is rolling in riches and instantly developed into a millionaire after only a few months in Governor Alfred Mutua’s camp, of which she shifted into from that of Senator Muthama.
Details are making rounds in town that she has begun the construction of apartments at Koma Kangundo road.
According to some sources who have been following up the story and privy to it, the first phase of the project is costing about 50 million Kenya shillings.
According to our correspondents the construction began about 3 months ago and the project is located in a 5 acre piece of land.
The contractor is a Chinese construction firm. Construction is in its final stages and construction of the first phase is set to end mid-December and set for commissioning in January 2016.
The project has already employed more than 150 residents from the area and is set to employ more with the need for goods and services provisions for those that will occupy the houses on completion.
This set of houses will transform the housing sector in that area which is a tourist attraction site and a religious site with the Koma shrines attracting many catholic believers each day.
The project has caused a stir in the social media due to the fact that it is not clear how an MCA can raise such large amounts of cash to build posh apartments despite the fact that it is her first time in Ukambani politics.
However, she is causing a muddle within her support base in relation to this surprising stardom, although she is still delivering to her ward residents.
Recently, she successfully facilitated a medical camp and training for girls and women having a thing she surprisingly achieved this year.
Consequently, we continue keeping an eye on this story as we unravel other political un-doings our politicians are getting themselves into as they plunder the privileges we selflessly empowered them with.
