Nairobi senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko has warned president Uhuru Kenyatta that incase he chooses to support Peter Kenneth for Nairobi Gubernatorial seat, he will not any other option other than running on an independent candidate.
“I cannot step down for anybody. I have always supported this government and have not offended it. I respect the presidency but if they ask me to step down, I will vie as an independent candidate,” Sonko said.
Mike Sonko has been terming Peter Kenneth as an outsider for the race to succeed the incumbent governor Kidero.
