After schools re-opened on Monday 12th October 2020, it was expected the second phase would go on uninterrupted. However, the corona virus pandemic is the cause of nearly whole seems to be going nowhere.
The full reopening of schools was supposed to be done two weeks on from the date the first group reopened.
Even as the pandemic cases surge, it is appearing like parents will have to prepare their other students to report to school soon after the October 26th date 2020 flopped.
While speaking on Hot96 radio, education CAS Zack Kinuthia has said that schools will not be closed owing to the recently announced surge in cases but what will make the school close is when the corona virus becomes a national disaster.
He asked parents to prepare their other students since phase 2 re-opening might be happening soon.
Over the last few days, the country has been cocking a 13 percent positivity rate.
