The Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga on Wednesday night while speaking in an interview on KTN News intimated that he is free to work with the deputy president William Ruto only when the circumstances conspires to occasion it happen.
The former prime minister lamented that the second in command planted false accusations against him over his exit from the ODM.
The ODM party leader Raila Odinga solidly worked with the deputy president in 2007 where they formed a coalition of Pentagon but unfortunately, the two parted ways upon the installation of the post election coalition that was reinstated by Koffi Anan.
Having been appointed the prime minister in the post election coalition that was installed, the ODM leader Raila Odinga reinforced the appointment of Ruto into Agricultural sector to serve as the Minister for Agriculture.
Ruto letter resigned in 2009 after the maize scandal erupted in the Agriculture sector where he was heading.
The second in command later accused Raila for catalyzing his interdiction for the maize scandal heist.
Ruto-Raila’s differences were cemented by the fact that Raila was targeting the second in command following his position on the Mau eviction.
Ruto later shifted his political slide and resorted to work with the TNA party leader by then Uhuru Kenyatta in 2013, where they merged to form Jubilee.
Speaking on KTN News, the ODM party leader stated that he will only work with the deputy president William Ruto if the circumstances conspires them to do so.
Raila also noted that the two will be forced to enter into some agreements and terms that will lead them in their political honchos.
