Application for new recruitment of teachers and replacement is ongoing for both primary school teachers and secondary school teachers. The deadline for application is next month, July 12th.
Teachers Service Commission has shared a list showing how the marks will be awarded during interview. According to the report, Teachers with first class honours will be awarded 40 marks, those with second class lower and upper division will be awarded 35 marks and those with pass will be awarded 30 marks.
For Diploma holders, those with distinction will get 40 marks, credit are awarded 35 marks and those with pass are awarded 30 marks.
Those with evidence that they are currently in internship are awarded 30 marks hence boosting their possibility of being recruited, this is unlike previous years where they were awarded 10 marks.
For those who graduated in 2015 and years below that they will get 25 marks, 2016 will be awarded 20 marks. 2017 and 2018 graduands will be awarded 15 and 10 marks respectively. Those who graduated 2019 and beyond are awarded 5 marks. Best wishes to all applicants.
