A list of politicians who will be ousted from President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee party has emerged after being leaked by top sources within the ruling party.
In the list is the party’s vice chairperson David Murathe who is said to have lost trust among top allies of the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta.
On his part, the party’s Secretary General Raphael Tuju is said to have gotten the sympathy of the top leaders and is likely to be spared from the purge.
“The party leadership has agreed to spare Tuju, but Murathe is not guaranteed to remain in his position. He seems to have fallen out of favour with the party leadership beyond repair,” said the source.
This will be a huge blow to Murathe who has been speaking strongly of the party and had at a time declared that he had resigned from his position only to make a comeback later on.
Others in the list is deputy president William Ruto who is the main item of discussion during the high profile National Delegates Convention that will be held later this month at the Moi International Stadium Kasarani.
Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi is also not safe since it is said that he will be expelled from the party which will ultimately lead to him losing his position of the speaker.
