Teachers service commission requires that all employed teachers by the commission must file and update their TPAD every term. While updating the TPAD, it has been noticed that teachers do make some mistakes that can make one to face a disciplinary action. The following are some of the mistakes that teachers commonly make.
.Doctoring and forgery. It has been revealed that some of the teachers do forge learners progress record. The mean and the rubrics they submit is totally difference to the actual tally. This is against the teachers code of conduct and ethics.
.Abnormal early submission. Submission of appraisal for appraiser assessment should be done once the appraise is done with all the standards and learners progress records. This can only be achieved once the learners are through with their last assessment at the end of the term.
.Appraise scoring 1oo%. It is always not possible for one to get 100% with no single evidence attached to the standards. This is over rating. Nobody is 100% perfect. There must be some professional gaps identified.
.Logging in. At the beginning of each term, all teachers are expected to log in to their TPAD account and log ‘on duty’. Most of the teachers do fail to do this only to log on duty towards the end of the term.
.Not meeting deadline. Deadline to submit the appraisals are always set by the Teachers Service Commission. Some teachers are always blocked out of the deadline. This is a breach of code of conduct.
