Last month, more than twenty-three political parties signed a pact with the Azimio la Umoja and agreed to work together while supporting Raila Amollo Odinga ahead of the 2022 general election.
However, things seem not to be going well in the coalition after the coast-based governor Jaffa Amason Kingi wrote to the registrar of political parties Ann Ndiritu requesting to withdraw from the coalition.
Kingi who is the leader of the PAA party says that the coalition has not yet revealed the details that were submitted to the registrar of the political party including what they agreed with hon Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.
However, rumors have it that the party which is led by the Kilifi governor is planning to sign a political pact with Kenya kwanza of the deputy President hon William Ruto.
Kingi is the second most popular governor in the coast region After the Mombasa governor hon, Ali Hassan Joho.
